Loving Someone Doesn’t Mean You Can Live With Them

As I’m sitting here watching the bachelorette, the young lady had a date with a guy who couldn’t carry on a conversation to save his life. The only words they had to say to each other were, “that was fun,” wow, amazing, awesome.”

He finally came up with, “I want to find a girl that’s sweet, and can be a good mom to my son.”  She basically said, “oh that’s cool, that’s important to me too.”

Huh?

What they needed to say was, what do you mean by “sweet?” That word can mean something different to every person you ask. Does it mean, a cute smile, talks softly, smiles all the time, agrees with everything you say and do, laughs at all your jokes?

And “good mom,” what does that mean exaclty? Cooks, cleans and changes diapers, plans all the meals? Or does it mean you have an inner child and know how to relate to a 3 yr old? And can you kiss boo boos?

Lastly I ask, how the hell does any of this translate into living under the same roof with someone?
