July 29 1-4
Everything You Should Know About Getting Job which will include topics such as:
Minimum Wage, Full Time vs. Part-time, Hourly vs. Salary, Overtime, Gross Pay vs. Net Pay, Job Application vs. Resume
Employer Homework, What to Wear, Tattoos and Piercings, What to Bring With You, What NOT to Say, Acceptable Answers to Interview Questions
If we have time, we can also talk about your internet presence.
Aug 12 1-4
Budgeting and Housing which will include topics such as:
Moving, Buying vs. Renting, House vs. Apartment, Loans, Taxes, Homeowner’s Associations, Insurance, Impound Accounts.
Contracts and Leasing may come up as well.
Aug 19 1-4
Buying and Selling Cars which will include topics such as:
Sticker Price, Used vs. New, Insurance, Down Payments, Financing, Purchasing vs. Leasing, Contracts, Warranties, Personal Vehicle Maintenance, Pink Slips, Registration
Kelley Blue Book, Sell to Dealer, Sell Yourself, The Sale Process, Transferring Pink Slips
- Contracts may come into play as well.
